Our company, Litterman, was established originally in 1994, when we realized the cleaning industry needed a good, reliable and lightweight tool to assist cleaning staff to perform at the best of their ability.

We embarked on a discovery path to design the best, most cost effective and most easy to use litterpicker tool on the market to assist in this effort. The design has been tweaked and manipulated through the first couple of years to reduce costs, increase functionality and most of all to increase durability.

The result of the last 27 years is what is known today as the Litter-Man Picker.

Now the above are all very beneficial to the company (with regards to safety for staff) but being the company that we are, we wanted to make this product the very best on the market which meant we had to decrease cost, increase durability and design the product in such a way that when you look, touch or use the product, you know immediately it is of the highest quality and yet at the most affordable price.

We therefore started experimenting with different materials, to decrease the weight, strengthen the design and increase the lifespan of the product.The design today, by using an aluminium frame, steel tips and springs and a lock bolt for preferred span setting, we feel we have finally reached our goal.

We also refrained from expanding our company beyond a small business to enable us to keep the price for our product as low as possible and we pass on all the benefits of saving expenses on to our customers.

We are the only manufacturer and supplier of the original Litter-Man litterpicker and therefore supply most of the major Municipalities with our quality product.
